According to the PPRTA CAC Bylaws, Committee members’ terms are staggered with a portion expiring at the end of each calendar year.  The Bylaws provide for a limit of two consecutive full terms for At Large and At Large Alternate members, with no term limits for CAC members from member governments.  The following Committee members’ terms will expire on December 31, 2024:

1. Karen Aspelin—2^nd full term (CTAB)
2. David Zelenok—1^st full term (El Paso County)
3. Bruce Coulson—1^st full term (Town of Calhan)
4. Jim Godfrey—1^st full term (At Large Regular)
5. Russell McPadden—1^st full term (At Large Alternate)
6. Fadil Lee—1^st full term (At Large Alternate)

The following entities will need to take some action regarding their CAC memberships:

1. City of Colorado Springs—reappoint Ms. Aspelin if she requests it or appoint a new CTAB member to the PPRTA CAC.  Notice of such action is requested by November 26.
2. El Paso County—reappoint Mr. Zelenok if he requests it or appoint a new member to the PPRTA CAC.  Notice of such action is requested by November 26.
3. Town of Calhan—reappoint Mr. Coulson if he requests it or appoint a new member to the PPRTA CAC.  Notice of such action is requested by November 26.
4. PPRTA Board of Directors—reappoint Mr. Godfrey, Mr. McPadden, and/or Mr. Lee if they request it or advertise for new At Large applicants.  If these three CAC members wish to be reappointed, they would need to submit a letter of request for reappointment to the Board via a letter or email to me by Tuesday, November 5, so that the Board may take this into consideration for its CAC reappointment process in November and December.  Additionally, since there are two vacant At Large Alternate positions, the Board is expected to direct staff to advertise for these vacancies, as well as pull unsuccessful applications from last year.
