Project Description: Dublin Blvd Improvements – Peterson Rd to Marksheffel is a PPRTA 3 Capital A List project. This project will construct improvements to Dublin Boulevard from Peterson Road to Marksheffel Road. Improvements include broadening the existing roadway from one lane in each direction to two lanes in each direction with a raised median and multiuse shoulders per the City standard section for Principal Arterial roadways.

Delivery of this project is essential to resolve transportation safety issues in the area; therefore, the City is using Roadway Safety and Traffic Operations program funds to advance the design and coordinate construction with the Marksheffel Rd Improvements project. By advancing the design of this project now, the City anticipates incorporating the physical improvements in a future phase of the Marksheffel Rd Improvements work to maximize efficiency and minimize future construction disruptions.

The City issued an on-call task order in December 2023 to Basis Partners to develop 30% engineering plans. This task order contract is to provide the necessary engineering services to progress the design to a 90% level and coordinate with the Marksheffel Road CM/CG construction contractor, Kraemer North America.

The City requests the PPRTA Board approve this Task Order contract with Basis Partners for $499,614.75.
