SUBJECT: FY 2024 Budget Amendment Public Hearing and Approval of the Budget
As set forth at the June 12, 2024, Pikes Peak RTA Board meeting, the July 10, 2024, Board Meeting is the date for the Public Hearing for the Pikes Peak RTA’s FY 2024 Budget Amendment to reflect 2023 net revenue carryover of $13,506,876 and additional 2024 estimated interest revenue of $10,000,000. The date, time and place have been duly noticed in the designated newspaper.
Attached are copies of the budget resolutions and the draft FY 2024 Pikes Peak RTA Amended Budget.
Recommendation
The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) made a positive recommendation to the Board for the budget as presented. The Pikes Peak RTA staff recommends that the Board Chair open the Public Hearing to receive public comments on the proposed amended budget in accordance with Board policy for public input for action/approval items. After the Board discussion of the Budget, the Board may approve the resolutions to adopt the amended Budget and Appropriate funds for signature by the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Board Secretary.
