SUBJECT: Appointment/Reappointment of Citizen Advisory Committee Members

As the Board is aware, PPRTA At Large CAC members Ann Esch and Emily Magnuson resigned from the CAC recently.  Pursuant to Board Policy #23, the Board’s Subcommittee comprised of the Board Chair, Board Vice-Chair, and CAC Chair met on June 12, 2024 to consider which of the four CAC At Large Alternate members to ‘promote’ to the two At Large (Regular) seats.  All four At Large CAC members were given consideration.

The Subcommittee unanimously chose to recommend to the Board that the Board appoint CAC members Rick Hoover and Rich Zamora to take the two At Large (Regular) seats effective immediately upon appointment by the Board and to delay filling the two vacated At Large Alternate seats until the regular fall cycle of reappointments/appointments.

RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD:

The Board’s Subcommittee recommends that the Board appoint At Large Alternate CAC members Rick Hoover and Rich Zamora to fill the two vacant At Large (Regular) seats on the CAC.
